wonderfully psychodaelic flower power feel, diane. my favs are the first one and the whitened close-up - very intense.

Hi Sauce,

Now that would have been the perfect title - Flower Power! It is exactly what effect I was going for overall. I have been exploring macro setting on my camera with the flowers and wanted to do something different with the shots. I believe the white close-up is my favorite of them all - I love the effect, sadly I cant remember exactly how I achieved it. I should be keeping notes!

Hi Diane ~  I like the pics with the fence in them. . .though May flowers are always lovely!

Nice to see you 'round.

Ren

Hi Ren,

Glad you enjoyed. The one with the dark fence and white field of flowers is one of my favorites. I believe it is because of the contrast between the colors, the field was gorgeous. I have taken hundreds (understatement) of photos on our bike rides and am finding it to be good practice, you have to be ready to catch the shot, snap at the perfect moment, and play with the settings to get the effect. It is like opening a Christmas present when we get home to see what actually turned out...needless to say I delete the majority due to either missing my target or blurring etc. Passers by just smile and wave! Have more to post and will as time permits.

Diane

Lovely daisies Diane and some interesting effects, though I think I like the top one best.

Good to see you back on the board again Smiley

Hi Nas,

Thank you. Life has been hectic and stressful and I had to take a break and post something. I have been stopping in to read and that is about all I have had time for...my husband and I alone moved our business office and it is a smaller location so we are doing our best to make things fit, but much has to be weeded out. Tons of old paperwork to go through, etc. Fun, fun...be glad when it's done!

Diane

PS I havent had much luck with the program suggested by Prosaic. I havent spent much time in the one you use since it is a trial deal I just havent had the interest. I have been using Picasa 2 (free) for basic editing features and then another program I own - Microsoft Digital Image Pro.
