Well done with this interesting picture of childhood. There are interesting texture-contrasts: flower / human skin / human teeth / metal brace.

The brace and daisies are very important in so many ways...

The flowers may be taken to symbolize innocence; childhood; nature; purity; freedom; simplicity (as long as their science is ignored) and so on.

The brace represents: worldly imposition (for braces are usually for cosmetic reasons - didn't work with me though!); adulthood - braces provide a winning smile to attracted partners; human endeavour and manufacture; a departure from purity; a restriction - both in the way braces work (ouch!) and the fact they are moulding us into society's desired shape; complications and so on.

This girl is clearly happy and one hopes she continues to enjoy "just fun" when she departs childhood for adulthood.
