You have it: it is computer-generated. I usually work by taking photographs then post-shoot editing them on the computer.

Ah that is what gives this image its name. It is a US-built Chinook helicopter - one of the few twin-rotor helicopters in existence - though there are many actual Chinooks in service. Though many are in service in the Middle East, we live in an area the Royal Air Force use for pilot-training, hence we see many of these giant helicopters (they can carry a couple of vehicles or twenty-plus fully-kitted soldiers.
