Great pictures Patrice and the bird is beautiful.

It looks like you had a fun time.  It reminds me of visiting Warwick Castle where they have jousting, falconry and archery displays and employ actors dressed in mediaeval costumes to entertain the visitors.

It is always a wonderful day full of fun and laughter, champagne and as Rene said turkey legs  *smile*

Beautiful bird. The pics remind me of our Hoggetown Medievil Fair here in Alachua County. I always enjoy the live chess game and jousting and costumes are amazing.

Diane

Very similiar to the Hoggetown Fair Diane, this is a little bigger with permanent buildings on the grounds.   I've been to the one in Gainesville a couple of times, they always served great root beer.

Yes, everyone is invited to join us this fall.

The hawk pictures are posted in the Plymouth section Rene on the web site, this one was just about a foot in front of me when she landed on the fence in front of me.

What fun -- y'all should come along next year.  lolol  Though I'm sure you'll see the pics next year. . .too!

The jousting was a blast. . .in the "kiddie-park". . .but then. . .none of us attending have yet grown up.  lolol

That's a great pic of the hawk, Patrice -- haven't seen that one before. . .I love that -- you captured the landing well!

Glad you posted these here.  *smile*

Hi HW,

I did not appreciate that cameras existed in medieval times - well done. A fascinating fantasy set of pix with much to entertain. Thanks muchly for the views.
